UV Varnish is a UV-curable functional coating material for printing, available in high-gloss and matte grades. It achieves instant curing under UV lamp irradiation with zero solvent emission and low odor. Compatible with offset printing, screen printing and roller coating machines, it features excellent leveling performance, strong adhesion and superior surface scratch and friction resistance. Suitable for full-size and partial overcoating on printed materials, it enhances surface gloss and texture and serves as an effective alternative to lamination processes. Ideal for high-speed mass production of printed packaging, picture albums and labels.

Caused by aging UV lamps or excessive machine speed. Reduce running speed, increase UV lamp power and clean lamp shade dust to achieve complete curing.
Q2: How to fix poor adhesion and peeling issues?
Caused by excessive substrate dust or incompletely dried base ink. Clean the working surface and ensure full curing of the bottom ink before coating.
Q3: How to eliminate orange peel and shrinkage cavity defects?
These defects result from high workshop humidity and dirty equipment rollers. Control workshop humidity, clean equipment and stabilize coating parameters for improvement.
Q4: How to improve insufficient gloss of high-gloss UV varnish?
Appropriately increase coating thickness, optimize leveling time and ensure sufficient UV irradiation to achieve perfect mirror-high gloss effect.
Q5: Can water be used for dilution?
Water dilution is prohibited. UV varnish adopts a non-aqueous system. Only dedicated UV thinner is allowed for viscosity adjustment.

Mixing is not recommended. It will destroy the curing system, resulting in disordered gloss, reduced wear resistance and incomplete curing.
